Based on the results of a survey by the World Economic Forum (WEF), about two-thirds of global economists predict a worldwide recession will occur in 2023. As many as 91% of economists think the US economy will weaken.
This happened to the US entertainment giant, Walt Disney Company which has announced 7,000 job layoffs from its global workforce. The job cuts represent around 3.2% of Disney's 220,000 employees worldwide. The company is targeting US $5.5 billion in cost savings, including $3 billion in content savings.
